Digital Accessibility Awareness Raising Workshop - eLaHub

This virtual instructor-led session delivered by Susi Miller covers the benefits of digital accessibility and tackles some common myths and misconceptions about disability and access needs. It is a highly practical session designed to promote collaboration, and a focus on accessibility leading to empathy and innovation. We also carry out a mini audit of our client’s digital content to make practical examples bespoke.

Course example content

A series of slides from eLaHub's Digital Accessibility Awareness Raising Course. The first shows an accessibility myth, the second which digital content should be accessible. The third shows a statistic about organisations with accessibility strategies and the final slide shows an example of a practical tip. This is to use camel case for hashtags on social media.

“A brilliant and very memorable session. We loved the way Susi built empathy – she really got the group to see beyond the technical guidelines to understand the human impact. Really powerful. Brilliant facilitation and design skills.”
